Jakarta – The main military hospital in Indonesia, Rumah Sakit Pusat Pertahanan Negara Panglima Besar Soedirman (RSPPN), was flooded with flower arrangements containing support, prayers, and encouragement for the newly elected president for the 2024-2029 period, Prabowo Subianto, on Monday (1/7) afternoon.
A total of 25 flower arrangements were continuously sent by various groups to RSPPN after Prabowo underwent surgery for his leg injury.
Flower arrangements from state officials such as Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan, Maruarar Sirait, and Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo were seen.
“Our prayers are always for Mr. Prabowo Subianto, the elected President of Indonesia. Stay strong and passionate, Sir,” wrote PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan in his flower arrangement.
Not only from officials, there were also sweet messages of warm wishes from community groups who are supporters of Prabowo, such as mothers, football fans, and residents around Bintaro.
“Mr. Prabowo, get well soon! Regards from my mom!” stated the flower arrangement from Fans of Prabowo Forever.
“Mr. Prabowo, get well soon, we can’t wait for Indonesia to qualify for the World Cup,” wrote the flower arrangement from the Fans of Prabowo Football Community.
There were also some sweet and funny messages from netizens of various communities, including the Secret Admirers of Prabowo.
“Mr. Prabowo, get well soon, I promise to order fried rice for you,” they wrote.
“Come on, Mr. Prabowo, get well soon, I promise not to stay up late anymore,” a message from the Prabowo Children of Indonesia community read.
It is known that a week ago, Prabowo stayed at RSPPN for intensive care after undergoing a successful operation and recovery for his leg injury that he suffered back in the 1980s while parachuting during his military service.
Now, Prabowo has resumed his activities as usual. This afternoon, Monday, Prabowo was seen attending the celebration of the 78th National Police Day at the National Monument (Monas) opened by the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo.
