Plaza Indonesia Mall in Central Jakarta presents a unique installation themed ‘Mughal Odyssey’ to offer an interesting and different experience for visitors. “We want to showcase something fresher than the usual Ramadan installations, which are typically in the form of mosques or domes. We bring ‘Mughal Odyssey’ while still featuring strong Islamic ornaments,” said Plaza Indonesia’s Marketing Communication & Public Relations Manager, Tommy Utomo, when contacted by ANTARA in Jakarta on Thursday. Tommy explained that the Ramadan installation themed ‘Mughal Odyssey’ is inspired by the unique cultures of India, Iran, with influences from European culture. The installation at Plaza Indonesia can be utilized as a photo spot for visitors, waiting area, and a meeting point for customers. This installation is located on level 1 and atrium level 4, and is accompanied by Ramadan music every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during Ramadan. Especially for the long weekend commemorating the death of Isa Al Masih and welcoming Eid al-Fitr, Plaza Indonesia holds the Ramadan Extravaganza shopping program with 3X points on March 29-31 and the Eid Extravaganza shopping program with 3X points on March 29-31, 2024, from 10.00 AM to 10.00 PM. “A minimum purchase of Rp5 million will give customers the chance to receive various gifts. Additionally, for every multiple purchase of Rp500 thousand, customers will get three times the points, compared to the usual one point,” he said. He added that to allow store employees and operational teams to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with their families, Plaza Indonesia will be closed on the first day of Eid al-Fitr and will resume normal operations on the second day of Eid al-Fitr. “As in previous years, to give store employees and operational teams the opportunity to celebrate the holiday with their families,” he said.
