Jakarta– PT Pertamina through its subsidiary, Pertamina Patra Niaga, continues to ensure the readiness of fuel and LPG distribution throughout Ramadan and leading up to the Idul Fitri exodus.

The Regional Marketing Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo Putra, along with the Logistics & Infrastructure Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Alfian Nasution, checked the readiness of the Surabaya Group Integrated Terminal.
“The Surabaya Group Integrated Terminal is the second largest depot after Plumpang, and is very vital for energy distribution in East Java. Therefore, we checked its readiness in terms of facilities, stock buildup, and facilities at the Surabaya Group IT,” explained Mars Ega as quoted in his statement on Friday, March 22, 2024.

To ensure that the service runs smoothly, Mars Ega emphasizes on digitalization integration at the Surabaya Group Integrated Terminal and gas stations, in addition to the reliability of facilities and stock. Currently, around 1,600 gas stations have implemented auto replenishment, where gas stations can request fuel deliveries automatically to anticipate running out of stock.

According to Mars Ega, all of these efforts must also ensure good safety aspects for the comfort of the public, as well as for the company’s operations.
Pertamina Patra Niaga, he continued, is present to provide energy for every journey both in terms of product availability and service to satisfy consumers.
“With reliable stock, distribution, digitalization, and service that always prioritizes safety aspects, we hope to carry out the task of distributing energy throughout Ramadan and up to Idul Fitri well,” explained Mars Ega.
Meanwhile, the Logistics & Infrastructure Director of PT Pertamina, Alfian, also ensured several important points in anticipating energy needs before Idul Fitri, namely asset integrity and the readiness of all workers based on safety aspects.
The reliability of facilities, he emphasized, must be ensured at 100% capacity so they are ready to meet the surge in energy demand.
“Secondly, our tanker truck operators, make sure everyone is healthy and fit, and how to manage fatigue also becomes an important point to check every day. Lastly, supply reliability, ensure alternative distribution is prepared to anticipate unforeseen events,” said Alfian.
